Buying and receiving alcohol in the United States is restricted to persons 21 and over. The best plan is to ship to an address where your carrier can check that the receiver’s ID is over 21 and obtain a signature. Stateside Crafts cannot refund purchases for packages that are undeliverable because no one with valid 21 and over ID is present to sign.
We use age verification software between initial authorization and shipment. If our age verification software does not indicate that you are 21 or over, we will notify you to ask if you would like a non-alcoholic substitute in your package.
Title to, and ownership of, all beer passes from Stateside Crafts to you, the buyer, in California, and buyer takes all responsibility for the beer being transported from California to the buyer’s selected destination. By placing an order, you authorize Stateside Crafts to act on your behalf in arranging for transportation of the beer at your direction. You can will-call at the shop or request that we contact a carrier on your behalf. Our shopping cart provides real-time carrier calculated shipping rates based on size, weight, destination, and delivery time to help you choose your carrier. Alternatively, you may choose to pick up the beer directly from Stateside Crafts, or make independent delivery arrangements. California Sales tax will be applied based on the Stateside Craft’s presence in California. Stateside Crafts makes no representation as to the legal rights of anyone to deliver or import any beer, alcoholic beverages or other goods into any state. You as the buyer are solely responsible for the transport of beer and other goods purchased and for determining the legality and the tax/duty consequences of having the beer and other goods delivered to your destination.
Product prices do not include shipping/handling charges, the cost of which varies depending on destination, number of items ordered and choice of delivery options.
Keep in mind that carriers charge a fee just for the trip. If you order more, the pick-up fee is amortized across the number of items making the per-item shipping fee lower.
We can ship commercial food-facility, non-alcoholic purchases anywhere within the contiguous US. California cottage law products ship only within California. Currently we do not assist in shipping alcohol to AL, AZ, AK, CO, IL, KS, KY, LA, MI, MS, MT, NY, SC, TX, UT, WA, WI.
We can arrange shipment of your goods via common US carriers: GSO (in California) and UPS. These are not refrigerated trucks. Even overnight shipments can get warm in hot weather in a matter of 24 hours. Stateside Crafts cannot refund purchases affected by warm weather so keep this in mind and choose products and shipping method accordingly.
Cold products are shipped with ice packs and can only be shipped via local delivery or overnight service. If you choose something other than overnight shipping we will notify you to ask if you would like to cancel the item or change the shipping method for the increase in shipping fee.
As of July 2016 we are shipping Wednesday and Thursday so your overnight products will arrive Thursday or Friday.
We are a family owned and operated small business so our online store is sharing inventory with our brick & mortar shop. This is updated once nightly. If you select an item that has since gone out of stock, we will notify you to ask if you would like a substitute or if you would like to cancel the order.
Pictures are generally representative of items being sold, but may be from a different year than what is currently in stock. If the year is important, please call us to confirm stock.
